Rafaella's stone houses consist of 3 neighbouring traditional houses, situated on the hillside above Katsadia Bay just a few meters away from the sea. The sea views from all 3 houses across to the island of Leros are simply wonderful. They all dispose of large terraces - sunny all day!
Not many people stay out at Katsadia so you will really feel far 'from the madding crowd' ! All houses are fully equipped with all the necessary (kitchen utensils, iron board, hair dryer). The strong points of these houses:

• 2 mins walk to Katsadia beach/ tavernas
• 25 mins walk to shops/ village amenities

NEW RAFAELLA stone house (1 bedroom house for 2 persons): Closely modelled on the original (Rafaella's old house), , this is the lowest of the three buildings and the most recently built, using the same attractive local stone.  The cottage sits in a natural hollow below and out of sight from the others above.  The sunny sea-facing terrace runs across the whole front of the building and is approached by a separate stairway up to the road.  The main living room has comfortable fixed seating to one side, wide enough and designed to double as an extra bed.  The modern kitchen area has a mini-oven and fridge/freezer, plus a circular dining table and chairs.  A stylish combination of the modern in a traditional setting, the bedroom is quite simply gorgeous – simple traditional replica island furniture and comfortable wrought iron bed, set off by the natural stone floor.  Between the two rooms is the all-mod-con bathroom in an ultra-modern setting.  Brilliant! OLD RAFAELLA stone house (1 bedroom house for 2 persons): The entrance by a separate walkway from the road above, leads to the part-shaded front terrace which has really marvellous views and runs across the whole front of the house.  The large traditional kitchen/diner includes a mini-oven plus a genuine traditional style fireplace in the corner.  Modern bathroom.  The romantic double bedroom is delightful with a door leading out onto the terrace.  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOGALLERY

RAFAELLA STUDIO (detached studio for 2 persons): This delightful studio is really sweet.  It has two good-sized terraces, one at the front and a shaded one to the side with fixed stone seating, ideal for al-fresco meals.  Both have lovely views.  The studio has a double bed, kitchen area to one side (with mini-oven) and bathroom.  There is masses of space outside between the two houses, but the Studio has a separate stairway to Rafaella's Cottage and so retains their privacy.
